We've Got a New Look!

Posted on March 09 2018

My name is Malia, and I love all things fitness.

It’s why I started Lifting the Dream.

I wanted to create cool, inspirational t-shirts that helped people feel motivated AF.

It worked! It still works. But with so many of the awesome changes that LTD, and we the Warren Squad, have experienced, I wanted Lifting the Dream to stand for more.

I mean Ghandi said some pretty cool shit, but this is my favorite, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

I want to see more men and women lifting instead of spending hours on cardio machines. I want them to feel empowered and welcomed in the fitness community, regardless of how much they can lift. I want to see more celebrations and more meaningful competition. I want to see kids, grandmas, and more persons with disabilities find their strength and own it.

Which is why our mission is to, "Make the World a Better Place to Lift".

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

We had so many crazy changes happen for the business, our family, and our lifestyle in 2017.

Our changes started with our adventures in attending our first CrossFit event as a vendor at the California Regionals in Del Mar, CA and introducing new (to us) product; moving our entire family from California to the beautiful state of Colorado; and wrapping up an amazing year getting acquainted with our new fitness community.

With all this new, it felt right to pursue a new look for LTD.

We poured blood, sweat, and tears into giving LTD a (face)lift, and I hope you all love it. I wanted to continue to motivate people, prop them up with confidence, and give them some rad, FUNctional gear for their toughest workouts.

My passion for fitness began with the barbell, and the reason I was inspired to start LTD, so it only makes sense to focus on the FUNctional pieces. Don’t worry, the shirts aren’t going anywhere.

We’re just going to make them more badass.

Our Knee Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, and Activewear will be an opening act for the most important part of the party: YOU.

We literally want to celebrate the shit out of you, and your journey, no matter where you are!

Lifting the Dream is about bringing fun and functional lifting gear to the Functional Fitness community. The new logo was inspired by an eclipse, symbolizing the two different worlds of fun and functional coming together.

The space where the two circles overlap is Lifting the Dream, where we celebrate community, athleticism, and having fun.

There is a party happening and we want to make sure you’re a part of it. It’s called Life, and it’s too short not to Lift It UP!

From dope designs to super friendly customer service, we want to be your stop for lifting gear.

Let's get Social. For Real.

Now get to lifting!

Malia is the owner, and mamapreneur, of Lifting the Dream. When she's not lifting heavy weights, she's doing some fun shit outdoors with her family or taste testing local ciders. She is a Cali girl born and raised, with salt water in her veins and sunshine in her heart. She and her family now reside near Denver, Colorado, soaking up the 300+ days of sunshine and breathtaking (literally, altitude) views.
